How Does BOTOX® Cosmetic Work?

What Is the BOTOX® Cosmetic Procedure Like?
Depending on what area is being treated, your Gulf Coast Eye Institute doctor will administer a different number of injections. For crow’s feet, you will receive three injections on the outer edge of each eye. Frown lines are generally treated with five injections on different parts of your forehead. Your Gulf Coast Eye Institute cosmetic specialist will discuss your goals and determine a specific treatment plan from there.
Repeat injections are recommended every three months for about a year to allow the skin to fully rejuvenate. Even though repeat treatments are suggested, some preliminary results are often noticeable within three to five days.
