Vimal Sarup, MD is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist who specializes in medical and surgical treatment of the Retinal diseases and Uveitis.

Dr. Sarup earned his Medical degree and did his Ophthalmology residency from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India and followed it up with a Vitreo-Retinal Surgery fellowship from Medical Research foundation. After coming to the United States, he did a Retinal Research fellowship at New York Medical College and Weill Cornell. He did his Ophthalmology residency from Ross Eye Institute, New York. Dr. Sarup has done his Uveitis fellowship from Massachusetts Eye and Ear, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School.

Before joining Valley Retina Institute, Dr. Sarup was a retina and uveitis specialist serving the Veterans. He was faculty at Howard Medical School, Washington DC, at UTMB, Texas and University of Central Florida.
